摘要
The sterility of the operating room is vital to the success of a surgery and elimination of the postoperative complications. Receptacles and extension cords are necessary to power the medical equipment degrade the sterility of the operating room. Wireless power transfer is an alternative approach of supplying electronic devices. The method is proposed for improvement of the operating room sterility and medical personal freedom of movement. In this method, the transmitter of a wireless power transfer system is placed under the floor of the operating room and the receivers are installed into the medical equipment. The total consumed power of the operating room equipment is approximately 3 kW. However, during the operation of such a system, a doctor and a patient are exposed to radio-frequency radiation. Model consisting of three-layer human models and a transmitter was evaluated to assess the impact of the radiation. The specific absorption rate was calculated for the currents in the transmitting coil from 10 A to 50 A and operating frequencies from 1 kHz to 1 MHz.
