摘要：
The rapid development of the World Wide Web has opened up many opportunities for the electronic distribution of data from various Electron Microscopes to a global audience. The implementation of a data base of High Resolution Images distributed across the Web will be discussed together with potential future Web based developments of interest to Electron Microscopists.
