摘要：

Taking twenty-four Chinese pharmaceutical listed companies which have experienced merger and acquisition in 2008 as samples, the paper establishes a system to evaluate merger and acquisition performance through factor analysis. After analyzing and comparing the performance of these twenty-four samples from 2007 to 2012, the paper demonstrates that the performance is increased firstly and then decreased after merger and acquisition. Yet up or down, the performance after merger and acquisition is better than before. Therefore, this paper draws a conclusion that merger and acquisition is benefit for improving the performance of Chinese pharmaceutical listed companies.
