摘要
This electronic document Polar codes have been recognized as one of the forward error correction (FEC) technique in recent wireless communication standards. However, due to its superior performance for short block length codeword and low decoding complexity implementation, in this paper, performance analysis of polar coding scheme has been proposed for uplink narrowband internet of things (NB-IoT) system. The proposed polar codes are applied to Physical (PHY) layer data transmission channel specified as Narrowband Physical Uplink Shared Channel (NPUSCH). We utilize the belief propagation (BP) decoding algorithm of polar codes in our decoding scheme which is integrated with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) codes known as (BPC) algorithm to improve the decoding performance of our proposed scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed polar coding scheme improves block error rate (BLER) performance for NPUSCH channel compared with other polar decoding schemes including the successive cancellation (SC), SC-List (SCL), and conventional LTE Turbo codes.
