摘要：

The cultivation of students' autonomous learning competence is not only the requirement of quality education but also a powerful guarantee to improve the efficiency of college English teaching. College English teachers need to build up new teaching notions and explore effective strategies actively to cultivate students' autonomous learning competence. Therefore, a multi-media teaching pattern which is good for students' autonomous learning needs to be constructed. Emphasis should be put on the cultivation of students' autonomous learning awareness and competence so that a new student-centered teaching pattern can be set up to stimulate students' personalized autonomous learning.
