摘要
An investigation was done in a laboratory-scale sequencing batch reactor (SBR) for examining feasibility of treatment for combined removal of biodegradable organics (COD) and nutrients (nitrogen) from real-life dairy plant wastewater. The study was performed in a 5 L capacity model SBR with real life milk processing plant effluent containing average SCOD concentration of 1250 +/- 50 and NH4+-N concentration of 40 +/- 5 mg/L as N. The maximum SCOD removal and ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) was achieved 82.36 and 79.79% respectively after a total cycle period of 10 h.
