摘要
In this paper, we show the developments of previous research, and we analyze the relationship between the pandemic and the strategies adopted by the refugees to deal with the anguish that arose in the health emergency. These strategies will be scrutinized exclusively for what concerns the practices and beliefs that pertain to the sphere of the sacred and that interact symbolically with health-related behaviors and beliefs. The subjects of our ethnographic survey are between 18 and 33 years old and they are from Sub-Saharan Africa. << Mixed ecospirituality >> is the concept we use to describe how the interviewees creatively put together traditional medicine and sacred practices and rituals, adapting it within the framework of meaning of the culture that welcomed them. This paper aims to analyze how this << mixed ecospirituality >> works for the individuals under investigation as a useful means for containing the concerns arising from the pandemic.
