Prevalence of Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae in poultry farms in Eastern Algeria

摘要：
The objective of this study was the estimation of prevalence of infections Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae in laying hens, broilers and breeding hens farms. The screening was based on serological test serum plate agglutination (SPA) and a bacteriological research in the tracheal swabs. Of the 30 farms tested 13 (43,3%) were positive for Mycoplasma gallisepticum and eight (26,7%) have tested positive for Mycoplasma synoviae in serology. The farms positive for Mycoplasma gallisepticum bacteriology and Mycoplasma synoviae were seven and three respectively, representing 23,3 and 10% of the visited farms.
