Evaluation of Strategic Investment Value of the Real Estate Industry

Strategic investment in real estate is the investment based on strategic orientation. With the gradual maturity of the real estate market and the consumers becoming more and more rational, the real estate enterprises are required to change from traditional financial management to strategic management. Through making a comprehensive analysis of financial and non-financial indicators of the real estate industry,this paper introduces the theory of gray correlation analysis into the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and identifies the key factors of investment value, so as to make up for the disadvantages of BSC and make more scientific and rational evaluation of those enterprises which have their own advantages and disadvantages of each dimension. A numerical example is discussed to demonstrate the methods to evaluate strategic investment value of the real estate industry.
