Plastics for material recycling and their upgrading by restabilization

摘要
Material recycling is one of the methods of processing the post-consumer plastics waste. The collected classified or mixed material is during its previous service depreciated to some extent by aging. This causes occurrence of structural inhomogeneities (new structure groups). Some of them accelerate the aging in the application of recyclate. Resistance towards aging is reduced also by the loss of stabilizers, both during the primary processing and in the service of plastics, and can be partially or completely replenished by properly chosen restabilization. This process is necessary for more demanding applications of the recyclate.
