摘要
The Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) was launched by the ACM, to help teachers, and ultimately students, to better appreciate the educational and professional opportunities inspired by the computing sciences. The CSTA was created as an international organization dedicated to supporting teachers and pursuing excellence in computing education for students age 5-8 (K-12). The K-12 CS education is designed to provide a bridge between high school, university educators, and the high-tech industry that depends upon a constant provision of highly qualified computer scientists. The CSTA is entrusted to advocate a comprehensive CS curricula at all levels and to collect and disseminate research about CS education.
