摘要
With the rapid advancement in educational technology, emerging technologies, e.g. Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), Extended Reality (XR) are getting a lot of attention from the researchers, teachers, and policy makers across the different disciplines in formal and informal learning. This article summarizes a recently proposed project to Taiwan's Ministry of Science Technology (MOST) with the following aims: 1. to illustrate the development and implementation of XR-based exemplary instructional modules; 2. to set up online platform for teachers to exchange knowledge and provide feedbacks on XR technology; 3. to host workshops to teach and equip teachers with knowledge and skills related to XR-based STEAM teaching environment.
