Tuning photoluminescence in the Ce3+/Tb3+ doped Ca2MgSi2O7 phosphors

摘要
Ce3+ and/or Tb3+ doped Ca2MgSi2O7 phosphors were fashioned by a solid state reaction. The crystal structure of the fashioned phosphors was investigated by X-ray powder diffractometer. The measured XRD patterns demonstrate that the fashioned phosphors have the purely tetragonal crystal structure. The photoluminescence of the fashioned phosphors were investigated by fluorescent spectrophotometer. The emission bands of Ce3+ and Tb3+ locate at blue and green regions, respectively. The occurrence of energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+ was confirmed by the investigation of Ce3+/Tb3+ codoped Ca2MgSi2O7 phosphors. Due to energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+, tuning photoluminescence is generated in Ce3+/Tb3+ codoped Ca2MgSi2O7 phosphors.
