摘要
With the rapid development of grid technology, studies on building web spatial analysis functions under grid environment have become the research hotspot of GIS. To implement complex geo-processing functions, it may need to integrate several different GIS service, which is usually distributed in different computer. Grid GIS provides a highly interactive and cooperative mechanism in implementing and integrating the geospatial service. This paper first briefly introduces the most important part in building Grid service-WSRF, then give an example to illustrate how Grid enabled GIS service can bring higher efficiency and make GIS service more cooperative than traditional GIS service.
