摘要
Y The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of sevelamer carbonate (SC) on pruritus in uremic patients and the relation with calcium and phosphorus metabolism and micro-inflammation. Seventy uremic patients formerly receiving maintenance hemodialysis were divided into combined hemodialysis-hemoperfusion (HD/HP) and HD/HP+SC groups, 35 cases in each group, which received HD/HP treatment and HD/HP combined with SC treatment, respectively. After 12 weeks of treatment, compared with HD/HP group, in HD/HP+SC group the total effective rate was significantly increased, the pruritus and sleep disturbance scores were significantly decreased, the serum phosphorus and intact parathyroid hormone levels were significantly decreased, and the serum tumor necrosis factor a, interleukin 6 and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels were significantly decreased. In conclusion, the HD/HP combined with SC treatment can improve renal function, ameliorate the calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorder, and reduce the micro-inflammatory state, thus alleviating the uremic pruritus.
