摘要
On the way of Chinese enterprises' transformation and upgrading, Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation (WISCO) focuses on buying the overseas resources, striving to achieve the optimal allocation of resources in the global range. However, Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) develops a new way for Chinese enterprises' overseas mergers and acquisitions (M&A) by becoming a shareholder of the Peugeot Societe Anonyme (PSA), which is easier for Chinese enterprises to apply the international advanced technologies and management ideas. By comparing the differences of the two ways above, the author believes that the DFM's way represents the direction of the Chinese enterprises' internationalization in the future. It is also believed that the key to take up the international market is enterprises' soft power, after having gained some achievements on enterprises' hard power such as the capital, the technology and so on.
