摘要
The development of superhard and heat-resistant materials was discussed. The role and degree of participation of covalent, metallic and ionic bonding on formation of the interatomic bond in one or another substance and the effect of each of these components of interatomic bonding were elaborated. The high-temperature strength properties of molybdenum and tungsten composites and tungsten-rhenium alloy were also presented.
