摘要
A stub loaded reconfigurable microstrip inset-fed microstrip patch antenna with frequency agility is proposed in this paper. The antenna consists of a rectangular patch; three stubs are connected through p-i-n diodes. Frequency reconfigurability is achieved by turning p-i-n diodes ON or OFF. Both upper and lower shift in the resonance frequency is observed by connecting stubs of different sizes. The dual-band and tri-band characteristic is also demonstrated. The prototype is designed, fabricated and measured. The measured results agree with the simulated results in all switching states.
