The Spatial Resolution Enhancement Deconvolution Technique of the optimized Wiener Filter in Terahertz Band

摘要
Spatial resolution enhancement technique can improve spatial resolution of satellite remote sensing instrument. The paper uses the wiener filter deconvolution technique to improve the channel brightness temperature image resolution of Millimeter and Sub-millimeter Sounding/Imager (MMSI) which will be borne on FY-4 satellite. The deconvolution technique of the optimized Wiener filter is applied in the 183GHz channel brightness temperature image simulated of a typhoon scene and in the real measurements of the MWRI instrument in the 18.7GHz V-pol channel and the 23.8GHz V-pol channel. The results indicate that it is feasible to enhance the spatial resolution of MSSI with the deconvolution technique and to display more details. The outline is closer to the initial image than the non-enhanced image. The correlation coefficient is also improved and the spatial resolution is enhanced significantly. These features verify that the deconvolution technique of the optimized Wiener filter is more effective than the traditional Wiener filter.
