Using variational methods we establish existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for the following class of quasilinear problems -Delta(p)u + lambda V(x)vertical bar u vertical bar p(-2) = mu vertical bar mu vertical bar(p-2) u + vertical bar u vertical bar(p*-2)u in R-N where Delta(p)u is the p-Laplacian operator, 2 <= p < N,p* = pN/(N - p), lambda, mu is an element of (0, infinity) and V: R-N -> R is a continuous function verifying some hypothesis.
