摘要
Nonlinear wideband light generation in the mid-infrared using silicon photonics circuits can be key for emerging applications in metrology and sensing. Here, we experimentally demonstrate mid-infrared supercontinuum generation expanding from 2.5 mu m to 7 mu m wavelength in silicon rib membranes fabricated with silicon-on-insulator technology.
