A new approach for static voltage stability assessment in distribution networks

摘要
This study evaluates the voltage stability of distribution networks by introducing a new index. Using the introduced index, it is feasible to analyze the network buses from voltage stability point of view. The index can increase the accuracy along with simplifying and reducing the computational burden. The suggested index is then developed to take into account the effect of distributed generations and tap changers. It has also been enhanced to be employed in smart grids. By doing so, the index value will depend merely on the bus voltages. Consequently, the calculation burden of the index is decreased significantly. In order to analyze the proposed indices, they are calculated in different load models. Two standard 33- and 69-bus distribution networks are utilized to evaluate the performance of the introduced indices. The obtained results are compared with those of other indices showing that the suggested indices lead to less computational burden and sensible and acceptable results.
