摘要：

A rapid separation for carrier-free Y-90 in the aqueous phase of the water/nitrobenzene extraction system from an Y-90/Sr-90 generator was proposed. After two-stage extraction separation, chemical yield of Y-90 in the final aqueous phase was roughly 80%, while Sr-90 radionuclide impurity in this phase containing carrier-free Y-90 was 10(-6)%.
