摘要：
The financial risk of food industry is special in 2008, because of global financial crisis and the Melamine Incident in China. By using a balance sheet approach, this paper analyzes the financial risk of food industry of China through the sample of listed food companies. The empirical results of balance sheet analysis and contingent claims analysis show that the financial risk of food industry increases significantly, and the default probability soared in 2008. However, the risk of food industry decreases in 2009.
