摘要：

Anew class of distribution-free tests for testing homogeneity against ordered scale alternatives is considered based on a linear combination of two-sample U-statistics proposed by Shetty and Umarani (2005). The proposed class of tests is compared with several competitors in terms of Pitman asymptotic relative efficiency (PARE).
