The cosmic ray energy spectrum as measured using the Pierre Auger Observatory

摘要
The Auger Observatory was designed to study high-energy cosmic rays by measuring the properties of the showers produced in the atmosphere. The instrument has taken data since January 2004 and was completed in 2008. First results on the energy spectrum of the primary cosmic rays for energies above 10(18) eV with statistics larger than collected in previous works are presented and discussed.
