Fotoionization of fullerene in presence of electron scavengers

Fotoionization at 266 nln of fullerene in a free expanding and in He seeded beam has been studied in presence of gases like SF6 and O-2. Measurements have been performed on a time-of-flight spectrometer with a double space focusing. Change of the photofragmentation spectra, in particular in intensities of ''magic'' numbers for heavy C-2n fragments can indicate that the molecular species attach to temporarily open bonds of the C-60 cage during the fotoionization rebuilding.
