The effect of meso-substituents in porphyrins on the emissive power of ytterbium ions in their porphyrin complexes

摘要
The luminescence spectral characteristics of Yb(III) complexes with symmetrically tetrasubstituted porphyrins containing isomer pyridine or quinoline radicals or their carbocyclic analogs in the meso-positions have been determined. Based on the structure-luminescence quantum yield models, variation in the ytterbium 4f-luminescence quantum yield in related porphyrin complexes has been predicted for the first time. The reliability of the theoretical models used is experimentally verified.
