摘要
Increasing competition between industrial companies obliges these last to improve their piloting systems, by using proactive piloting systems. In this paper we propose a proactive management of the stock level of semi-finished products, by taking into account the uncertainty of consumption and the stops of the upstream step of manufacture. Being proactive is to be able to anticipate problems. So, we propose a product-driven manufacturing launch to manage semi-finished product inventory. This is possible by the use of product driven system concept with infotronic systems (Computing and electronics systems like RFID). Being smart, the product will determine the good moment of making decision of manufaturing, the quantity and the due date. To validate the necessity to take into account the stops of the upstream stage of production, we applied the solution to manage the stock level of a semi-finished products warehouse of a car manufacturer. As a result we concluded that taking this parameter into account eliminates any risk of stock-outs and over-stocking.
