摘要
This work aimed to recover the perceptions about interculturality of the 7th semester students of the UNICh sustainable development career. The study was carried out through a qualitative methodology, using a structured questionnaire, applied to 28 students. The results obtained show that there are students who perceive interculturality as a quality only for indigenous people, while others confuse the term with multiculturalism and some others, who are mostly aware of the term and formulate approaches on how intercultural interaction should be presented in the field of everyday reality. In conclusion, students categorize 4 types of intercultural perceptions related to the indigenous, coexistence, cultural diversity and cultural interaction and generation of new knowledge. Finally, intercultural perception studies in Mexico are few, and with this work the need to develop a line of research on this topic to improve intercultural educational proposals is pointed out.
