摘要
This paper present the analysis of forward and reverse bias I-V and C-V characteristics of Al/Al2O3/PVA:n-CdSe/CdS metal-insulator-semiconductor diode. PVA:n-CdSe/CdS nanocomposites has been prepared by Chemical Method. The temperature dependence I-V parameters such as the ideality factor (n), the barrier height (phi(b)), the Richardson constant (A*), mean barrier height have been studied. The temperature dependent C-V measurements of Al/Al2O3/PVA:n-CdSe/CdS diode has been performed in reverse bias mode. The discrepancy in barrier height obtained from both I-V and C-V measurements has been explained theoretically by using potential fluctuation model.
