摘要：

The principle of sol-gel method, the preparation procedures of organic/inorganic hybrid optical functional materials and the pre-doped, post-doped and in-situ synthesis techniques are introduced. Luminescent rare earth hybrid materials, waveguide materials and photochromic materials are discussed in detail. The future development of optical hybrid materials is presented.
