A novel anti-collision protocol for RFID systems

摘要
A new anti-collision protocol for radio identification systems has been invented. This anti-collision protocol is called the Aloha PN bit transmission protocol. A transponder generates a pseudo-random number (PN), and transmits a signal to an interrogator with a delay or a slot corresponding to the PIN bit value. The length of a PN is shorter than that of an ID according to the situation in which the interrogator is set up. An interrogator sends a next bit transmission command according to a bit value that corresponds to the number of received signals. In this paper, various anti-collision protocols are discussed, the new protocol is explained, and a simulation of the new protocol is described. With this protocol, the simultaneous reading speed was faster than with the ID bit transmission protocol. The effectiveness of this protocol was confirmed.
