A microcomputer-based instrumentation system for voltage flicker measurement of an electric arc furnace feeder

摘要
Voltage flicker is an important index of power quality, and several instruments had been developed and applied to field measurements up to present. But, no economic and popular product is available. In this paper, an instrumentation system is proposed for the voltage flicker measurement of an are furnace feeder, it was based on a microcomputer which was used to implement an indirectly digital demodulation algorithm. The test results not only show the characteristics of voltage flicker of the tested feeder, but also illustrate the effect of different sampling strategy on flicker measurement of an electric are furnace load.
