摘要
Despite a supposed omnipresence of the topic of sexuality, young people in our society are still endowed with very few sexual competences. The consequence of this is that social expectations and media representations cannot be critically assessed and sometimes leave young people frustrated. Without clarification, this can subsequently lead to sexual problems. Since misinformation that is not recognized as such is subjectively perceived as knowledge, there is also no need to ask questions. The most important prevention is therefore a respectful offer of discussion on the subject of sexuality, which allows misinformation to be clarified in a timely manner. Gynecologic practice provides an appropriate framework for offering important basic information in a direct manner. If it is possible to convey this in a language that is understandable and above all normalizing for the patient, then it is subsequently possible for young women/girls to ask personal questions.
