William Carlos Williams' poems are characteristic of temporal and spatial arts. With the analysis of his three poems-"This Is Just to Say," "The Red Wheelbarrow" and "Portrait of a Lady," it is found that Williams' writings are on the way to spatial poetics and modernism.
