A Quality Evaluation Method for Assembling Process of Complex Products Based on Process Capability Index

摘要
Assembling, which is the last section before delivery, is influential to quality directly. It can quantify the quality and discover problems so that provide support for improvement of the overall quality to evaluate the quality of assembling process. In this paper, a model of quality assurance for assembling process, including planning, control, evaluation and improvement, is raised based on the quality trilogy of Juran, and the importance of quality evaluation is introduced. Then, based on the relationship of machining and assembling, multivariate process capability index mainly used in machining process, is introduced to assembling and used to measure capability of assembling. Furthermore, a method of assembling quality evaluation for complex products based on process capability index is proposed. After then, application solution of the method used in quality control and improvement of assembling process is presented. Finally, an application example of a mechanical product is analyzed to show the correctness and validity of the method.
