Optimization of the parameters of water-flooded gas field exploitation with the use of multilateral horizontal wells

摘要
A new statement is proposed for the optimal control of the exploitation of a water-flooded gas field by utilizing multilateral wells. An analytical method is presented for solving a system of material balance equations for a gas field, a water inflow into a gas field, and a gas inflow to a multilateral well. The mathematical model of the control object is based on the assumption that the processes of the gas-field exploitation are quasistationary. The calculation results are presented for the fluid-dynamic parameters for the optimal control of the exploitation of a typical water-flooded gas field. It is shown that, in the case considered, the optimal control lies on the boundary of the domain of admissible controls.
