摘要
The blast furnace control at Port Kembla based on the undersaturation of carbon in iron and the superheat of slag was discussed. The quantity consumption of carbonaceous debris and trapped oxide particles was recognized by the study of index responses to coke quality and operating conditions. The partition ratios of manganese and titanium were correlated to response indices for monitoring the condition of lower zones of the furnace. The analysis at Port Kembla confirmed the occurrence of primary slags' mixing in the deadman and liquid mixing in the hearth pools.
