A new composite structure with aluminum alloy bridge deck and steel girder

摘要
At present, a huge number of concrete or steel bridge decks have been damaged severely around the world, which will lead to the outstanding issues of deck replacement and long-term traffic disruption followed with enormous social impacts and economic losses. While a new fabricated composite structure with aluminum alloy bridge deck and steel girder is proposed by the authors. Through the discussions, it can be predicted that the fabricated composite structure with aluminum alloy bridge deck and steel girder will be used in bridge structures safely and economically, and have a bright development prospect in the future construction and maintenance of bridge.
