摘要
With machines taking on increasingly diverse roles in human society, such questions rise as whether machines will become one of us. Considering that interaction is based on perception, the study aims to examine whether machines have the same kind of perceived minds as humans, that is, how do machines differ from other human beings along the dimensions of mind perception - experience and agency. An online survey was conducted and recruited 522 respondents. The study found that we still see other human with more minds in both dimensions. However, machines in human-resemblance were perceived highest in both dimensions than other types of machines. Moreover, people familiar with technology in general tended to saw more agency and less experience among machines than those unfamiliar with technology.
