摘要
Variations in local longitudinal critical currents in short samples of Bi-2223 and Bi-2212 monocore tapes were studied. The sample critical current and local values of the critical current in some sections of the Bi-2212 tapes increased considerably if the silver was removed from the test section. This effect was smaller in Bi-2223 tapes. Current transfer voltages associated with inhomogeneities are responsible for the observed behavior. Magneto-optical experiments support the results of the transport measurements.
