摘要
A Pb(II) aryl oxide complex, Pb-2(mu-O-2,6-Ph2C6H3)(2)(O-2,6-Ph2C6H3)(2), was prepared from Pb[N(SiMe3)(2)](2) and two equivalents of 2,6-diphenylphenol. The compound was characterized by X-ray crystallography. The complex forms a trans-bridged dimer with two bridging and two terminal aryl oxide ligands. The geometry about each lead atom is trigonal pyramidal. The four lead-oxygen bridge bonds are nearly identical in length and slightly longer (ca. 0.1 Angstrom) than the two lead-oxygen terminal bonds.
