摘要：
We illustrate the relationship between computer algebra (CA) and artificial intelligence (Al) through several results we have achieved in recent years. We demonstrate that there exists a bridge between these two domains. Specifically, we show that setting CA within a framework of knowledge representation enables us to link computation to deduction. This also leads to embedding CA into a multi-agent system. These results may be viewed as non-standard applications of CA to AI. (C) 1998 IMACS/Elsevier Science B.V.
