Image archiving requires a physical location where images can be stored. Thumbnail-sized copies of these larger image files (small enough so that 10-30 can fit on a computer screen at one time) should be easily accessible, permitting visual inspection of the actual digital photographs rather than just their file names. Additionally, having a reliable backup system for your image files is prudent.
