摘要
This paper discusses the definition and functions of meta-cognitive strategies on English listening based on understanding and expounding the concept of meta-cognitive strategies. The ultimate purpose of the paper is to come to a conclusion through discussion and find some effective recommendations and ways to improve the level of children's English listening. In order to cultivate children's English listening skills, the author suggests parents to help their children to learn English, which can enhance the abilities of children in an effective way.
