Butanol-gasoline blends were made in a series of blend ratios with butanol volume percent ranging from 10 to 90%. Physical and chemical properties of butanol-gasoline blends were gotten through experiment based on standards and codes and test method with considering indexes of density, low heating value, 10% volume fraction, kinematic viscosity, stoichiometric air/fuel ratio, octane number, copper corrosiveness, oxygen content. The fitting equations about linear function of the physical and chemical properties were analyzed for the relationship between blend ratios of corn butanol and the properties. The result showed that there were different change law and change trend on blends properties. The linear equation slope absolute value of density, low heating value, 10% volume fraction, kinematic viscosity, stoichiometric air/fuel ratio, octane number, copper corrosiveness, oxygen content were 9.99, 7.77, 3.86, 2.45, 2.39, 1.76, 0.84, 0, respectively. The properties of density, 10% volume fraction, kinematic viscosity, octane number, oxygen content were increased with the increase of ratio of butanol. Low heating value and stoichiometric air/fuel ratio were decreased with the increase of ratio of butanol. Copper corrosiveness was no changed with the increase of ratio of butanol.
