摘要：
Ionic liquids are emerging as new solvents and have wide applications in various fields. One of the important class of ionic liquid is chloroalumiate, whose properties can be tailored by varying the concentration of aluminium chloride and is miscible in all proportions with organic liquids. In this report we review the properties and applications of chloroaluminate room temperature ionic liquid.
