摘要
The paper discusses the use of different structural coatings for pool boiling heat transfer. There are a few most common types of such coverings such as meshes, sintered powders and fibers, however, they generally enhance boiling in relation to the smooth surface. The article focuses on wire mesh microstructures due to their advantages for practical use in the design of phase - change heat exchangers. (C) 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
