摘要
Wired system represented bg optical fiber communication, and wireless system including microwave radio, satellite, mobile and indoor radio communications - both of them have made remarkable advance and development with highly developed theory and technology for the background. Today, what everyone all over the world hopes is that in the new era of the 21th century, advanced information-based society will be constructed with the powerful support of these telecommunication systems. In this paper, some concepts on technological fusion of optical fiber system, i.e., wired system and wireless system for achieving high speed and highly flexible multimedia transmission.
